Dr. Albana Daka is a physician, PhD researcher, and academic leader, specializing in advanced laboratory diagnostics, medical genetics, clinical nutrition, and preventive medicine, with a particular focus on prenatal and neonatal cytogenomics.
She combines extensive clinical practice with academic and leadership roles, promoting evidence-based, personalized, and prevention-oriented medical strategies, grounded in precise laboratory and genetic interpretation.
Dr. Daka holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tirana, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical / Biomedical Sciences. Her advanced training includes medical genetics with specialization in prenatal and neonatal cytogenomics, alongside continuous postgraduate education in laboratory diagnostics, clinical nutrition, preventive and longevity medicine, biomarkers of inflammation, oxidative stress, and microbiome science.
She currently serves in leadership and board roles within the International Academy of Clinical Nutrition, contributing to academic governance, curriculum development, and international scientific collaboration, while overseeing educational standards, research orientation, and strategic development.
As Physician and Scientific Director of FitHealth Clinic, Dr. Daka brings over 15 years of professional experience in:
