Valentina Telhaj (Ph.D. candidate) is a licensed Psychologist, Psychotherapist, and University Lecturer with more than 11 years of clinical and institutional experience in the field of mental health. She is officially licensed by the Order of Psychologists of the Republic of Albania and is internationally certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Her academic background includes a Master of Science in Psychological Counseling, a Master’s degree in Legal Psychology, and ongoing doctoral studies in Mental Health Psychology. Valentina is also a member of the Accreditation and Licensing Board of Psychotherapists (AACBT), contributing to professional standards and clinical excellence in psychotherapy.
Valentina has received extensive professional training in CBT, EMDR, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, REBT, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Her clinical work spans both in-person and online practice, supporting clients nationally and internationally.
She currently serves at the State Social Service under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection and collaborates as an External Expert with the Albanian-European League. In parallel, she teaches as a University Lecturer and actively participates in international scientific conferences.
Valentina’s professional approach is grounded in evidence-based psychological methods, with a strong focus on trauma treatment, emotional development, and psycho-emotional rehabilitation.
